Science of Teaching - Literature Review
The Science of Teaching initiative's overall objective is to provide data, evidence, and innovation in order to improve foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) outcomes in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
This literature review has the following sections:
1. A simplified history of recent structured pedagogy.
2. Key findings from a review of the recent literature on structured pedagogy programs in LMICs.
3. Important questions to which we do not yet know the answers in this subfield.
4. Link to the other guides in this series for key elements of implementing structured pedagogy.
The Science of Teaching website invites users to browse the topics of research currently in progress, to explore key findings, and access full downloadable reports.
